Belinda — I was thinking the same thing about NYE in Australia, and those balmy — moving to stinking hot — evenings! But yes, the flu can strike at any time, and I was quite ill in the lead up to Christmas with the summer flu. Apparently the latest Aussie flu was so notorious that it was all over the UK news, after it immigrated and knocked out many Brits in the last few weeks!

And Anne — sorry to hear you’ve not been well, and hope you’re now on the mend. If it is anything like our ‘Aussie flu’ was, then it was misery at times, and I know that feeling of being sick and tired of being sick and tired (particularly if you’re trying to soldier through with work and life).
