My First Story (Ever!) on Medium, Back for a Repeat Performance

Thanks again to The Goat @The Scene & Heard, my first story — ever — on Medium is back for an encore performance. This piece dates all the way back to 7 June 2017, when I was first thinking about re-dipping my toes into this writing thing after an extended hiatus; back in the days I’d first heard of this thing called Medium and no one knew me here. Come to think of it, it didn’t do too badly the first time, considering that I was a complete unknown. Incidentally, it’s the first piece of flash fiction I’d ever written (at least intentionally, after learning about this particular genre) and weighs in under 500 words.
