The Goat @The Scene & Heard has done it again, allowing a space to share older work lost in the slush piles of Medium. This time is is a poem about a subject close to many poets’ hearts — reading poetry; writing poetry. Poets reading poets; poets writing about poets; poets writing about reading poetry by other poets. And to top it all off, it is a humble tribute to the thoughts of the great Alice Walker, and the restoring balm of her aptly named poetry collection:

The World Will Follow Joy (Turning Madness Into Flowers)

And who can argue with that sentiment?

Oh, and once again, it’s spoken word, so there’s also bonus audio. Joy, Poetry, Poets and a bonus reading. What more could you want?

Enjoy.
