I love indie – and most particularly – second hand book stores. I think most of my (many many many) books were bought second hand, often intuitive finds that came to hand on a particular day, often because it was something I needed to read at the time (whether I knew it or not). The other thing I love about second hand books is the little finds inside – a stray postcard, or note, a stray ticket used as a book mark, or inscriptions in the cover. It connects me to those who have come before, in the life of that book. πŸ“š ❀️
