This reminds me of one time at Music Camp..

(what we called it downunder in the Land of Oz) when on kitchen duty, some of the kids in the orchestra grabbed the cutlery baskets from the dishwasher and started shaking them to the rhythm of Mars, Bringer of War (yes, they must have been rehearsing it at camp) and everyone started banging along. We imagined we were in Fame! (the 80s version, not the remake) Still think no one quite does it like Holst for sci-fi music β€” or movie music generally β€” I hear his influence all the time in contemporary film composition (if the music editors didn’t go straight to the source). Thanks for some rousing memories!
