Zev – you want to know the irony of this place? “Recommended reading” from Medium under your comment was a scintillatingly titled post: “21 quotes that (if applied) change you into a better person”, which is apparently a top post on Medium. 25K claps!! So yes, this is where we’ve come to… Have to say, all of this has put me in an unmotivated slump today – when this was a free day, and ideal for writing… I finished a poem the other day and was wondering whether to submit here, or look for somewhere else – ended up submitting to one of the publications here, but waiting to hear back… and in the meantime, couldn’t bring myself to start something new. So – tomorrow I’m going to pick myself back up, read some poetry and/or short fiction, from an actual book (got several bags of them from the library, waiting to be read) – and then get back to writing again. And yes, in the meantime, the Lit community of Medium needs to stick together and support each other, because if we don’t, who else will do it? And keep on writing, and submitting, great stuff! 😁🌻🌼🧡
